Recently a member of our WAFEC community decided to engage in attacks against my employer and myself. I don't want to give this individual any more air time as hes detracting from the objective of the project and list and he's technically banned from OWASP. You may have noticed I had to respond to his attacks with a different email address, owasp.org email domain wont even allow his emails. I don't want to revisit old history but his statements about his reputation are false. I've asked one of his references to corroborate my version of things, (bcc on this email) and hope that response will be forthcoming soon. He's already been through the OWASP ethics complaint process and gotten banned. Previous WASC folks warned me about him as well when I took over the project. I've had him on moderation since Wednesday and intend to remove him from the list and the project on Monday. Please contact me if you have concerns and I'll respond as I can.
