Hello participants of Mailing List.

I want to tell you about the state of infection in Internet, particularly
the state of infection in Uanet. Which I'm actively researching since 2006.

Recently I've published a lot of analytics information. After publishing the
results of hackers activity in Uanet for second half of 2012 and totals of
hackers activity in Uanet for 2012 (which contain also information about
infections), I've published separate reports concerning state of malware.
Since malware is a part of activity in Uanet, which I'm researching. Among
my reports concerned with malware there are the next:

  • Web applications at infected web sites in the second half of 2012
  • Web applications at infected web sites in 2012
  • Infected hosters in the second half of 2012
  • Infected hosters in 2012
  • The state of infection in Uanet for last years

You can look at the diagrams in my annual report The state of infection in
Uanet for last years (http://websecurity.com.ua/6460/) for 2010-2012. I've
begun writing about infected hosters (hosting providers which host infected
sites) since 2011 - published results for infected sites in 2010, 2011 and
2012 years.

And about web applications on infected web sites I've begun writing last
year. I've made my first report (for the first half of 2012) for my speech
on open source software conference, which was in September in Kyiv. The most
interesting for you can be information from my total report Web applications
at infected web sites in 2012 (http://websecurity.com.ua/6418/).

The next engines (which were identified) are using at web sites infected
last year:

WordPress - 17
DataLife Engine - 8
Drupal - 3
WebAsyst Shop-Script - 3
osCommerce - 2
