Dear all,

I would like to configure my organization iPad's to access my secure website.
Every user or iPad should has client certificate for authentication.

I know "iPhone Configuration Utility" tool can do this, but I didn't find the correct way.

How can I install the client certificate with its private key to authenticate the users when they access my secure website?

Than you.

These are the steps that I take to install the Burp Certificate
Authority onto my iPhone and iPad:

  1. Open up iPhone Configuration Utility and provide a name,
    identifier, and description
  2. Create a new Configuration Profile
  3. Under "Credentials" click "Configure"
  4. Select the certificate file (.cer or .p12)
  5. Plug the iPad into the computer, select it from the library on the left
  6. Find the configuration profile you just created, and click "install".
  7. Follow the prompts on the iPad to finish the installation

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I did all these steps before, but dosn't work. I receive "This website requires a certificate. The required certificate is not installed"

I created the certificate file as the followings:

1- Created .cer file containes the client certificate and its' CA.
2- Installed the certificate in windows.
3- Add the certificate from credentials.

What is wrong? and what I'm missing?

Hi,

You need to install a p12 file because you need the secret key as well.
