The Microsoft CISG team just released a preview of their managed code static analysis tool CAT.NET, you might want to check it out: http://blogs.msdn.com/cisg/archive/2008/12/15/anti-xss-3-0-beta-and-cat-net-community-technology-preview-now-live.aspx

Subject: [WEB SECURITY] Static code analyzers

I was wondering do any of you have a feel for which static code analyzer does a better job with C# source code? From my research it looks to me like some of the products seem to do better with Java than C++ or vice versa for example so I was wondering which one seemed to do C# the best.
