[WEB SECURITY] Looking for Resource(s)

Dear All,

I'm student researching on Web Application Firewalls.
Recently I read Acrobat file entitled Web Application Firewalls Evaluation
Criteria and read carefully that, I'm interested in this subject and looking 
for more resources about this, I want to know more about the Request Flow 
and techniques about enforcement. 
I want to know that what the statically and dynamically techniques are and 
how they can be used to enforce the request flow. 
Kindly please refer me to some resources that help me in understanding 
and identifying the problem deeper.
